Run there on foot. I'll guide you there through the woods and show you my cache and game trails so you don't have to pay for travel, lodge, or food. Just give a holler and I find u.
I believe that you can do a sling day pass that is $4.99, and it includes ESPNU, that is what I came across while trying to find the same answer as you, but I have not tested it.
It IS being streamed on TSN+ in Canada -- a monthly pass is less than $6 US (it's $8 in Canadian dollars).
However: (1) Even if you're using a VPN, I don't know if it will allow you to pay with a non-Canadian payment method. And (2) TSN's online platform mostly sucks: there's usually no replay (or if there is, it'll be posted only many hours later), no pause or rewind during livestreams, etc. Even as a Canadian, I usually prefer to pay more and use circuitous methods in order to get stuff from ESPN etc.

Thanks for reminding that the National meet is on Saturday. This sport gets no attention on main stream media and hard to get free streaming. It is literally hidden intentionally from the average person.
I will check results after the meet and prob. find it on Utube a few days later.
Not really missing much. XC ends at the college level for US athletes.
And both full races will almost certainly be on the official NCAA YouTube channel within a few hours after they conclude, as they have been the last few years.

Sucks they don't post it for free on Youtube. I couldnt even watch the Dodgers World Series this year without paying a lot for stupid PPV. Remember the days of just turning on ABC Wild World of Sports or NBC?
I wish it was on for free but $2 is pretty good. do you know if the sling orange plus sports extra is a 24 hour deal? can I get it set up now or do I need to wait until tomorrow morning.

You probably could hook your TV up to an antenna and have watched for free.

Wild World of Sports? Never heard of it.
There was a show called Wide World of Sports, though.
