Her club is not a real track club and Colleen has no legal standing. She’s left Flag bc of her clown business and now she’s terrorizing Boulder. Time for a real job.
From my understanding she is continuing to post athletes who have left as if they're still part of the team. They asked to be completely separated and she is refusing.
Doesn't sound like Quigley is handling this particularly well, but demanding that your presence be scrubbed from past social media posts seems unreasonable.

Why? Because it’s embarrassing that athletes are already leaving? Yikes this woman…

Some people don’t recognize when it’s time to step away. This was never a genuine training group, and at this point, her involvement is doing more harm than good for the sport

Looks like she’s left LA too. Are the Hollywood dreams over? 😭
Did you even read the email which you screenshotted and posted? Quigley wrote:
"I have removed you from our website so that people can see you are not on our roster anymore. I will also obviously not include you in content going forward so as to not misrepresent your current involvement with the team."
What are you even complaining about? This thread is stupid
Everyone knew it was a scammy team. If you joined, that’s on you.
Asking to be removed from past posts is silly. You were once on the team but now you are not. If you’re embarrassed by your past affiliation, that’s on you.
Taking back free merchandise (if it was free to CQ) is also silly.
I wonder if CQ is broke. Had to sell her house in Flag and leave LA. Doesn’t seem likely bc her fiancée is gainfully employed in finance. Just acting like a poor a guess.
All pre-conceived notions aside - I would easily side with Quigley on this one.
Her use of the work icky is childish. I personally despise people who use "Best" as a closing. The lack of written agreements was short sighted. Everything else seems professional and reasonable. Of the two options that Quigley offers: #2 is dramatically better and easier for the recipient of the email but both options seem fair to me.
Context is helpful for a lot of things but if the recipient of the email did take cash (venmo) and then try to leave the group the Meridia team / group next day.... they are a scumbag.
Email text from imgur transcribed here:
I [quigley] got your text and request to delete everything from IG that has you in it. It feels pretty icky that you waited until I sent you a venmo for the Meridia Mile before texting the next morning to say you were leaving the team and requesting these posts to be deleted. It's not normal business practice to delete branded posts with any type of brand deal you do with a company/brand/team. Since you were on the team this summer and all the posts were done with your willing participation and approval as part of the team, there is no reason to take them down afterwards, especially since you received compensation. I have removed you from our website so that people can see you are not on our roster anymore. I will also obviously not include you in content going forward so as to not misrepresent your current involvement with the team. During your time on the team, you received $494.27 in cash for the Meridia Mile as well as gifts totaling $1,877 in value. See the complete breakdown here. If you wish to erase the past, I can offer you the 2 options below that I feel is fair in order to accommodate your request.
OPTION 1 -There are █ posts of just you with no other Meridia teammates. I can delete those completely. -There are █ posts that you participated in to help promote the Meridia Mile. These posts also include other athletes, but I would be willing to delete these as well. -There are █ other posts that feature you in some way along with other Meridia athletes in storytelling capacities. █ of them were posted by other accounts and I don't even have the ability to take them down. I can remove all tags of you in the remaining posts that show you alongside other Meridia athletes.
If you'd like to do that, you will be required to: - Return the cash you have received from the Meridia Mile ($494.27) - Return all the gifts you have received - unopened, brand new in boxes/with tags etc. or the cash value of all items so I can replace them myself - Sign a separation agreement to formally part ways - stating that neither one of us owing the other one anything

Let me know what you would like to do. Best, Colleen
Some might question the merit of this thread. I think it raises the issue that athletes have few options for post-collegiate training so they get drawn to initiatives like this. It highlights that we need more professional groups that are professionally run.
I mean, this thread is way more useful than any of the “I can’t get a woman” or “I love Trump” ones.
Total girl boss fail. No written agreements, even though as the other poster said, verbal agreements do hold up in court. People can resign or leave whenever they want. I once left a job right after making sure a bonus hit my bank account. It’s called self interest. This is not a charity. Unless she said they had to give it back until a specified date, they can keep the money from the mile event. Hope it’s a lesson learned for all.
This email can be ignored. What is she going to do, sue me for five hundred plus merch? Smear my name to all the two other people that care about her fake team? Lmao once a mean girl, always a mean girl.

Clearly the former athlete or athletes are very embarrassed about being associated with this vanity project. Wonder what really went down.
There are plenty of post-Olympic athletes who have gone onto successful careers in and outside the sport so I find it interesting that went the social media grifter route.

The other alleged activity of pretending the people she’s running with being on the team… what kind of friend would do that?
