That's my guess. Who would poke their forearm for lactate testing and why would you need a bandage vs a band aid at most? Also, those are Coban wraps (kind of like a thin ace wrap), not bandages, so holding something on their arms. Maybe sweat CLM is my guess?
I'm getting a kick out of the title IX coordinator leading repeats with the women's team :)
I'm always curious who gets pulled in to run reps with various teams. And plenty of interesting people seem to be getting filmed on the BYU track these days (Freireichs).
My best guess is the team had bloodwork done to see where everyone’s vital metrics are at. Coaches often want to know these metrics, like especially iron levels, in order to ensure athletes are able to train and perform at maximum capacity. Sometimes an athlete might feel off for a period and eventually find out after doing bloodwork they were deficient in some vitamin or something. They might just be proactive and get it all done at once. Lab techs will typically draw blood from whichever forearm has better veins or whichever arm is opposite the dominant arm.

could be wrong tho
Forearm and not inside of the elbow? My blood draws are always out of the inner elbow.

Yeah, I think that's the most logical guess. Maybe a continuous lactate monitor. My guess is that the wrap is to help hold it in place and avoid getting knocked or jostled. It's not the right spot for a blood draw, plus blood draws don't require big wraps.
Comedy award goes to the poster who thinks that it's kinesio tape on their forearms (some left, some right) to support tendons and help injury recovery. :)

That would be extremely logical, but yes weird location. I think sweat CLM. Although anchor tatoos cannot be ruled out.
I just saw a post from the BYU Instagram account and all the women seemed to have some sort of white bandage on their forearm. I’m just curious if anyone knows what that’s about?
