Was once a big fan of Must fan he lost me when he seemed happy to see people lose their jobs. That’s socialpathic! Companies, the government and even teams have to make cuts at times but it is never a happy occasion.

Polls are manipulated by many orgs to show what that org (or individual) wants them to show. I saw this while worjing at NBC and CNN. As for Nate Silver, he’s a hack and has a platform because he is in the same ‘club’ as many media people so to speak, and they promote their own. Silver is also gay and a lot of the time he lets that influence his behind the scenes ‘adjustments’ to whatever actual data he collects.
The media uses polling (meaning fake numbers) a lot of the time to try and make people go along with things, make people feel they’d better think a certain way in order to be a part of the cool crowd. You don’t want to be part of that bad minority!

we currently exist in a weird, inconsistent place where gay sex is legal and gay marriage is the law of the whole country, but you can ban books for gay content.

this is not a required class at a state funded elementary school, it's a voluntary tv show that is probably a tiny % of netflix's programs. parents can use parental controls or deny it to their kids. if you're going around to every network saying don't you dare air this thing i disagree with, that's censorship.
