Also THIS is why we can't have productive convos. Our government was created so that the majority still has to negotiate with the minority party. You can't just ignore them. Typical low IQ Dem, just spouting off about things you don't even want to attempt to understand. You can't pass budgets with a simple majority... hence the reason Dems have to be involved. Until we can get enough Americans to wake up to give the Republicans a super-majority in both houses, this will be the case.

I’m personally more of a libertarian but agree with republicans on illegal immigrants. I can understand democrats being on the opposite side of the immigration issue but I can’t comprehend wanting to also give them healthcare. Of course not. The most important thing is that the executive branch has claimed the right to stop or divert all payments legally appropriated by Congress. Why fund anything then if everything is just trump's piggy bank?

Yes and No. The $ toward the healthcare for the undocumented is only a very small part of what the Ds are seeking. I think the bigger $ is in the Obamacare cost assistance. But the small $ will be most politically saleable. But the Ds are also talking out of both sides of their mouths as they criticized the BBB for impact on deficit/debt and now they want more spending.

California has covered illegal immigrants and received fed reimbursement(although this may end soon) Surprised you don't know that, or maybe your are just pretending you dont

You are right -- it is not real. It is an article in the nypost.
Before criticizing the Democrats, find out what they really want. They want existing healthcare for legal citizens to continue like before, not new benefits for undocumented immigrants. Republicans are dishonestly turning it into a debate about "illegal immigrants", who are not legally covered today, to screw poor citizens, enrich the rich, and own the libs. Republicans do this because it works -- a lot of gullible people, e.g. nypost readers, fall for it.
Democrats have always been available for budget negotations, but Republicans have consistently refused to talk to the Democrats. It's a little bit late now to complain, and it's inappropriate to blame the Democrats for any lack of cooperation, when Republicans don't even try in good faith.
