I remember you well from your "brutal" days in the old sub 10 forum.
Unrelated to Josh Allen, but have thought of you in recent years whenever I hear mention of the Golden State Killer and his links to Visalia, where I think you were (are?). Any stories?
As we know he grew up in Firebaugh a little town out in the sticks west of Fresno, yep been there back in my insurance sales days. Think......tumbleweeds/coyotes in packs/giant hawks.
I knew nothing about him in his HS days. Then off to Reedley JC another small town south of Fresno, I did read something about him there. Then forgot about him.
His Wyoming numbers were decent nothing that stands out.
His first few NFL seasons he was reckless, but now he has it down, a well oiled machine. A case can be made that right now 2025 he is the best QB in the NFL.
And like Mahomes is moving towards that.....ALL TIME GREAT....NFL QB, actually Mahomes is there.
Speaking of QB;s, I don't think Caleb Williams with the Bears is going to make it, hard to believe the best QB that franchise has ever had was Sid Luckman way way back when.
I watched Allen at Wyoming (I played a couple of years at Wyoming as a walk-on in the early 80s & use to live in Cheyenne).
Allen had a good Jr year there in 2016 where he threw for 3200 yds & 28 scores adding 523 yds rushing (he made 2nd team All-MWC).
Allen has a monster arm & impressive athleticism for a big guy but had big time accuracy problems at Wyoming (only 54 Pct in 2016). Because of his elite physical skills, teams were willing to take a chance on him & the Bills snatched him up.
