Not really sure this is the case. Strands weakness seems to be in positioning and then timing his kick well so he’s not rigging the last 25 meters. Sure it’s always better to be stronger but he got top 10 at NCAA cross/ran 7:29. I’m more worried about Strands execution of his race than his engine. Could see him get overexcited and rig in a heat/semi.
