Does Bijam want and need a posting of needed cleanup or is it easier to just let the system work it out by itself based on whether or not race results show up?
Well, considering that most of them were jogging, 17 minute 5k is more likely. Consider their individual history. For instance, Riley Chamberlain of BYU ran 15:30 at their 3M xc race and she has run 5k xc in 16:44 but 5000m on the track in 15:23. Nelah Roberts won in 15:30 and has a 5000m pr of 16:24 but has run 6k in 20:06. Taylor Rohatinsky ran 15:30 and has run 6k in 19:55. Lexi Goff has run 6k xc in just 21:36 but she also ran 15:30 (maybe much improved?). So, you're just going to be way, way off in an unhelpful way if you just start with their tempo race results and ignore the history.

Are these runners people who have already raced? If not, then they won’t be loaded in until they race. Normally I would try to keep scraping rosters, but this year there are so many blocks that roster-scraping takes multiple days and will probably in the middle of the run. I’m also having tons of trouble getting 5k PRs because my IP keeps getting blocked. This is making the early results a little less stable than usual.
Which early season meets are missing? Can you give me an example of one so I can look into the bug?

The post you responded to was complaining about a 4K with 17:xx ratings. The BYU race was not a 4K and was still rated "unstable" at that point so his complaint must have been about some other unknown race.
The BYU race is now rated with the 15:30s being rated as 16:30s same as last year. This has caused BYU's overall ratings to drop but they will go back up after their next race when this one drops out of the ratings.
When I simulate races, it doesn’t initially populate freshman. Does anyone else have this issue?
The simulation is based on timings data, while they don’t have any data points on freshmen until they run in actual races. High school PRs and spring/summer track results don’t count.
Even for those that have run races so far, they don’t come up when simulating. If you were to simulate the SEC, no Alabama rookies come up and count in Bamas team score

What happens when you click the box to include runners not on rosters?
For example, Harvards roster is currently empty on tfrrs. Their team loads no runners into the simulator unless you ask the program to not use the roster. I haven’t found a good solution to this (and scraping rosters takes about 10x longer now that tfrrs has all their new blocks up).
