There's no flesh and no feathers in the fossil record so for all we know these things were purple with green spots.
are you sure about this? because i know it was common for insects to get trapped in amber. no feathers fell off a bird and got trapped in amber?
There's fossil evidence of feathers but they have no idea what color they were and I'm pretty sure they have no idea where on the body they were located. Have they found any on t-rexxes or are they just assuming that since other dinos had them the t-rex did as well?
I went to a dinosaur exhibit at a museum yesterday and learned that we've updated our views of what the t-rex actually looked like. Very interesting.
This is just one image I found on the internet. If anyone has better information about the t-rex feel free to share or correct me.
Funny how all drawn images of T-Rex show them with a menacing appearance, which is unlike every other known species in the animal kingdom.
That's a good point. Other ferocious animals like lions and wolves usually look chill most of the time when they aren't on the attack. You don't see chill depictions of the t-rex, do you.
Scientists have actually learned a lot about Tyrannosaurs in the past few years. We now know that Tyrannosaurus Rexing was capable of 13:55 for 5k in light trainers.
