No it will not last, Phanuel Kipkosgei Koech will be another Filbert Bayi from the 74 Commonwealth Games and break the 1500m world record this year!

There are 4 more races left. Silesia, Brussels, Zurich, and finally the WC in Tokyo. Will it be broken? By who?
Your obsession with el g and his records betray a side that idolizes him in your deepest subconscious. Time to come clean with a doctor about this unhealthy desire.

Did you just spelled the full name of the kenyan doper in the open. There is only 1 wr holder in the mile in this millennium and it's that guy.
It will last through this season for sure. Next year? Probably. Have to wait and see.
El G was huge fun to watch in his prime. Amazing. How'd he do it?
We'll never know, I reckon.
YES!
All these people thinking "super" SHOES can be a super MAN.
El G is the Secretariat of the 1500. Once in century, maybe the peak human all time.

I think next year is most likely since there will be no Olympics or WCs. The top dogs will have nothing better to do than chase records.
It is now next year and, yes, at least one guy is set on chasing El-G's mile record.
Just hoping London DL meet organizers will be recording 1500 split times during Kerr's "Project 222" race.
Frankly, I would like to see one or more guys not named Jakob dip into the 3:26s this summer.
Since El-G was facing off against eventual sub-3:27 guy Lagat back in the day, believe we need to see that first before a sub-3:26 becomes feasible.
