People just want to be understood, all of us, especially when we are down. So if AI can do that with words it quantifies as partial therapy , although not fully. And that's better than nothing.
From what I’ve seen AI is essentially a search engine on steroids.
So, in the case of therapy, whatever the patient is b!tching about had already been b!tched about by many others and as result AI can tell you what a therapist would probably say.
As a college student AI has saved me a ton of time for busy work. It’s not great - and very distinctively artificial - as a writer though. What it’s good for is generating many more ideas than you need, or more words than you need, and then you write or trim it yourself.
That's not "busy work," that's the work itself. Your development is suffering and you won't be capable of much in the long run, unless you have other ways of developing. Damn, dystopia is hurrying right along, isn't it?
