p.s. Do you think Chebet could run "1345 or 13:50" because those are the times you trotted out as your proof that she'd have a chance.
I think she could run 10 seconds faster under more ideal conditions like a cool evening race in Oslo or Stockholm. That ferocious kick over the last 200 showed she was not running at her limit. 13:50 for sure. With a male pacer the whole way 13:45.
When I am President in 22 years, I will outlaw all women’s sports and make it a 10 year prison sentence if a female ever sets foot in a human race again.
Wasn't this with 1990s training which is now generally accepted to be perhaps the worst era of training approches to distance running since the 1940s or something?... Training is the most important factor in distance running regardless of gender or inherent talent.
Matt Giusto was training exactly like the elites of today train.
It's the shoes and the technology, which is okay. Time marches on.

Wasn’t Giusto busted for PEDs?
Ha Ha Ha!!! You should've been at this running clinic, someone asked him the same question. I won't go into the details of his answer, but it was pretty funny. Matt never denied working with Balco and Victor Conte. In fact, he complimented Balco and Conte for helping him with an extensive mineral/vitamin program which he used for the better part of 20 years. It was in the summer of 2000 (Matt retired in 2000), when he first heard of the steroid scandal with Marion Jones, which included Balco and Conte. It was at this time Conte designed "The Clear" steroid cream which Regina Jacobs, Barry Bonds, Tim Montgomery, and others were using. Matt joked that he never got invited to be part of this "Cheaters Club", mostly due to the fact that "The Clear" hadn't been developed yet, and the athletes involved requested it from Conte. Conte never peddled the drug to anyone, it was always the athletes coming to him. Matt never asked for any PED and never was implicated in any wrong doing or being "busted". As far as Kennedy is concerned, Matt never heard of him being implicated in PED's, accused? Yes! being "busted" or otherwise, No! Looking at both BK's and MG's career progression, there's nothing to indicate that either was cheating.
If they had the shoes of today, she would lose to them every time. You have to go back to the 1940s to find men who would lose to today's top women with modern tech. Pre-Lydiard era. Since then, most increase in performance has been due to tech (and peds).
Even if they ran barefoot, they would drop Kipyegon like a bad habit.
This^^^
As juiced asKipyegon and the other E. African woman are they’d still get smoked.

Kipyegon’s 4:00 attempt is evidence that male pacers make little, if any, difference in female runners’ performances on the track. Obviously the conditions had no effect and 13:45, which is equivalent to 28:30, is never going to happen.
