I emailed their customer service line, "listening@roadrunnersports." They didn't even reply in three days. The company stinks in terms of customer service. Time to give the independent running stores more business.

They have the slowest site on the planet. It takes so long to place an order over their site, it's easier to just go to one of the many others. I agree, my experience with RRS has been dismal at best.
Can anyone recommend some good online merchants that sell running shoes?
Hey, you can get a signed Steve Scott bobble head doll on on roadrunner right now.
although I try to support the local running store...RRS has some of the best service in the business. Call them. Tell em your troubles. I bet they allow you to get the 20% off. They have bent over backwards many of times not only for me, but for many others that I know as well. I agree that a tech-error is bad business when running a promo, but see if you get a reasonable response, and if not, like many others said, take your almighty $$$ somewhere else.
Never had a bad experience with RRS.
They don't man the phones or answer emails over the weekend or on holidays.
They aren't a 24/7 operation.
If the website was down over the weekend seems like it would be more THEIR problem than the consumers.
Sure if you want to sit at their Web site while it hangs up on you, order from RRS. If you want to buy a pair of shoes in a timely manner, head to your local running store. Local stores usually can special order anything you want and I'd rather give business to the caring "little guy" than a large Web site that treats its customers poorly.
Yo'ness
Ya; this company dude. I dont know about them. My girl is an not a very serious runner, she runs trails about 3-4 times per week. Well, she wanted to step it up a bit, so she ordered some shoes from these clowns after seeing a promotional ad on the website for a race she wants to run. Well, she got her AMEX bill saturday, she was charged for the shoes but she had yet to get them. 2 pairs, ordered over 3 weeks ago. Plus, the subtotal was not what her reciept was that she printed out. They took away the 15% discount they had offered.
They had overlooked her order and said that they would ship them on tuesday; she was like, f*** you. I dont want them, and they said they would be glad to refund them, minus a 25% restocking fee from her order. HOW CAN YOU RESTOCK SOMETHING YOU HAVE NOT SHIPPED YET?
Anyway; I know people who swear by RRS. We have no running specialty store within 400 miles of here, so she goes online for her stuff. This was a bad experience with them for a first time consumer.
That's all
