Dudes had some pretty gnarly weather from heavy downpours most of the first week to hot and humid temps for the better part of another week.
I remember Karl Meltzer saying about an FKT attempt "One fall and it can all be over. Could happen day 1 or day 31".
Id love John to do it but man that doesn't seem to be the type of injury you want to have heading into the White Mountajns...but i guess at this point with 300 miles left its all about mebtal toughness and focus, which he definitely has

Based on his tracker recent activity it looks like mayve he pulled the plug 33 plus days in.
He went well off course and back to a parking lot.
