He's won three straight 5,000, 1 gold, 2 silvers and a 4th place in the 1500m. That is not a bad record. Think of all the great 1500m runners who have never won a 1500m Olympic gold..............including the great Steve Cram, Steve Ovett. Jakob is only 24 and not only that record but multiple world records, one of only two runners with a double 1500/5,000 world indoor gold.

The game in the old fifteen hunnerd Is win, be the very best runner Don't give me that jive With his move up to five From his form at the mile, it's no wonder.
He's done there, that's all there is to it. He'll win? Well then, let's see him do it! That one fluke in '20, or else he'd have none! He is posing and we all see through it.
No doubt in my mind that Jakob is one of the best distance runners ever. But in terms of world championships, medals, wins, etc over the last 3-4 years, he is certainly not the best at backing up his talk.
After his humiliating loss at Paris 2024 and upset at 2023 WC, if he loses one more time at this year's WC, I think we should just stop considering him for any future medals at this point. Only WR's where conditions are set up exactly for him to thrive with pacers, wave lights, etc

Jakob is devastated to hear you may not take him seriously anymore. He says he will now intensify his training in an effort to retain your respect and loyalty.

Never take him seriously again? The reality is 3000m and up he is pretty much unbeatable at Worlds. At 1500m much closer. I think he will have learned after the last 3 years that he shouldnt lead. He has to hope someone else takes it through 154 155 through 800m then he can use his strength in a slow grind race to win. Pure kickers race he obviously is vulnerable. But wont take him seriously? Why?
The done runner Jakob from Norway he can't beat Nuguse (who's for sure gay) he can't defeat Kerr he'll lose to Haw-kerr his time at the top was a short stay
Stupid comment on Nuguse and has nothing to do with running. Some people just ignorant on an anonymous website

I expect him to lead the entire race and win his first WC outdoor 1500 gold in honorable way. Winning from behind in the 5000 is enough. I don't want to see that in the 1500.
Four different winners (Jakob, Wightman, Kerr, Hocker).
ZERO repeat winners.
ONE MAN with clearly and objectively the best record. Jakob has been out of the medals exactly once, and has as many wins as anyone. Nobody has a winning record against him.
