Is Don Jr. as good as Trump? Most would say no. Those that have to strive and earn often are better than those who are given everything.
What about Peyton Manning, Ken Griffey Jr, Barry Bonds, Steph Curry, Matt Centrowitz Jr, etc?
Whatever fool posted that nonsense in the original post is acting as though X, Y, and Z qualities (primarily X) in the parent enable one to deductively conclude that the son is worthy of the draft pick.
Junior senior then says that the nitwit’s logic is poor because there are “often” exceptions, and those exceptions don’t merely exist; they follow a process he’s hypothesizing (the “strive and earn” grind for those outside of what has been bestowed by an accomplished parent as a key catalyst to success).
And you respond to Junior senior as though he was saying that NO sons of accomplished parents can succeed at an incredibly higher level? Um. Here’s a hint: No, he didn’t say that.
The sad part is that you’re probably wayyyyyyyy smarter than the average american voter.
What is wrong with NFL owners, are they STUPID? Deion Sanders was a great college football player, and was even greater in the NFL. He’s also a very good coach, streetwise and smart! Therefore, Shedeur, his quarterback son, has PHENOMENAL GENES, and is all set for Greatness. He should be “picked” IMMEDIATELY by a team that wants to WIN. Good luck Shedeur, and say hello to your wonderful father!
Shedeur didn't inherent any of Deion athletic genes. Deion was a sprinter/corner and not an unathletic pocket passer.
