Conner 59:12!
59:13 for Mantz! if only the course was record eligible
Bor 59:55, finally cracking sub-60 (even if non record eligible)
Course isn't record eligible, but was there a significant tailwind today? If not, it actually looks like a tougher course than Houston.
Much tougher course than Houston.
True but tailwind today which isn't always the case. Course can be pretty slow into a headwind
Jack Rowe - 1:02:03. Was kind of expecting more.

6-7 mph. Mantz is a very bad man.
Is it possible the course was long? I have around 15 people on strava showing measurements between 13.25 and 13.31 including the pros.
Woody Kincaid 1:03 debut
Emily Sisson 1:09
Should their coaches be worried?
GPS in big cities just won't work good, so distance gets messed up

Literally every race I've ever run in a city has the GPS recording the course long.
The course was measured and certified (USATF & World Athletics) by two excellent, highly experienced measurers. It never ceases to amaze me how runners believe that a GPS carried/worn by runners can match the accuracy of experienced measurers measuring the tangents of a racecourse.
Excellent thread. I’m going to google a link to the results now.
Luke Combs 15th overall? Not bad for a guy pushing 350lbs
Incredible run by Mantz. Especially in the middle of a Boston build. This kind of race really plays to his strengths. Hopefully he can parlay this into an outstanding race in Boston.
Who is his wife?
