At least one of the Whittakers had a good meet- I cannot believe no one is talking about Juliette's choke job in prelims. She looked tragically bad out there
We aren't talking about it because Juliette Whittaker didn't choke, she's been injured. But you wouldn't know that since you are a "Master of None".
She wasn't too injured to race nor too injured to qualify for nationals and stay with the lead until the last 150?
She had a bad race and looked bad doing it. Her form from the jump looked like she was slapping at the track and treading water. I'm calling it how I saw it

You aren't too good at seeing things, nor are you good at understanding how injuries can effect someone's fitness, which is why you are a Master of None.
ABSOLUTELY, She is every bit as successful an Olympian as Lasse Viren, Wrestler John Smith, Swimmer Mark Spitz, Meseret Defar, Abebe Bikila etc. and she has a great shot at being more successful in her olympic Career than any of them were, as she is yound and probably has 5-7 more Olympics she will be in.
Are we really all that naive to think whatever is happening at Arkansas is purely down to top talent & good coaching? Guys, come on!
In 12 months they've had Pryce go 48.57 for 9th on the AT list. She couldn't break 50 seconds the year before. And looks who's above her: Koch, Kratochvilova, Naser, Paulino, Perec, Bryzgina, SMU & Mboma . How many of those are actually clean? And she suddenly improves massively and joins them in the top 10.
They've had Kaylin Brown go from absolutely NOWHERE to 49.13. I mean, nowhere, she hadn't even broken 53 before 2024, hadn't even competed in 2023, and she goes from 53.0 opener to 49.1? COME ON.
They've had Amber Anning go from 50.68 to 49.29 & smash the British record out of nowhere. She goes into the top 30 AT.
Now Isabella Whittaker runs 49.24 indoors, 2nd AT indoors, again, without breaking 50secs before a month ago.
So they had a 48.5, a 49.1, and two 49.2 women in this last year? It's giving freakin cheating, that's what it's giving.
It’s insulting to the coaches at Penn to say that now she has better coaching at Arkansas. She ran 54.74 in high school, improved to 49.90 at Penn. I’d say that very good coaching and a good training environment at Penn.
Also, can we please stop the drug comments on everyone that improves. It only hurts our sport!
No, people like you who refuse to talk about doping are ruining the sport. Get your head out of the sand. All these science experiments have ruined running

You can just say you don’t understand how injuries work. It’s much shorter than the diarrhea you spouted.

Likely Arkansas is doping their female athletes but not their male athletes. It's super easy for females to pass Testosterone test, but males will fail easily
She is a beast. She has lats that would put most dudes to shame.

I started a whole thread last week to acknowledge the specimen that she is and the mods deleted it because it was supposedly inflammatory.
Don’t bother acknowledging something like this for these type of athletes. No need to acknowledge the Bella, Kishane types that the general public actually looks at and sees a super athlete.
Just acknowledge the Noah Lyles builds and let every Tom, Dick, and Harry challenge them because they “look like them.”
Gotta do every thing possible to continue suppressing the sport.
No disrespect to the Penn coach, who I actually sat with when Bella ran; Arkansas is on whole different level. Arkansas has a much larger coaching staff, infrastructure, training partners and SEC competition compared to Heps...Bella was bound to get better. -- Please stop with doping talk, it's nonsense. Bella was making steady progress every year at Penn and what she is doing now appears to be natural progression of that progress. Any athlete good enough to make the U.S. national team is almost certainly going to be a superior NCAA athlete.
Bella and Juliet are about the least likely dopers at the NCAA meet. Their dad was a standout 800m runner for Gags. They have immense talent, a great attitude, and work very hard. Would be utterly shocked if anyone in their family was doping. The only thing against them is that they are really, really fast!

You could make the exact same argument about Athing Mu, who went from 51.98 to 49 low after doing to A&M. There is a difference between HS level training and college.
And Brown didn’t compete in 2023, which you conveniently left out.
