Alright, sure, doesn’t really matter. Got banned with a PB of 9.77. Came clean. Then somehow runs faster and more consistently years later at a pretty old age for a sprinter. 9.74. What, did he just work that much harder? I love Gatlin, I think he’s good for the sport and seems like a good dude. But numbers don’t lie man.

Having 4 years to train without ever racing has to be an advantage. She never had to peak and had plenty of time for a massive base phase. She also never had any reason to push through a race when she was slightly injured or do anything that risked injury. She’ll be great through the end of the 2025 outdoor season and after that she’ll start to fade.
