That is not really "M@ga" because something like 70% of Democratic voters also support that. This is just common sense. Glad to hear it is happening.
If what you said is true, this 70% of your don't wield and political sway within your party. Because only two of your parties representatives voted with the repub. You don't matter.

Why did only 2 Dems vote for it?
They are weaklings and sissies who never did sports and understand nothing.
In the Senate, I gar-on-tee Bernard Sanders will vote against. He was no athlete, with his 4:37 mile PR. Compare that to former GOP congressman Jim Ryun's 3:51.

Are you sure about that? 206 out of 208 Democrats voted against it, over 99%. Democrats are HEAVILY in favor of men competing in women's sports.
Oh, trust me, I agree that "party politics" have taken over in Washington. Politicians always vote (on both sides) to defeat their rivals, not based on what they or their constituents actually believe.
That is why it is good to remember that politicians are not the same as the real people who live out in the real world.
So let's not confuse "politicians" with actual friends and neighbors and fellow Americans who are not crazy. This goes for voters in both parties. Most of them are just normal people.

Perhaps. But only 2 dems voted for it. It’s as though Dems are against it just because Rs are for it.
Yes. Of course that is why those politicians voted that way. If they represented their constituents, the vote would have been a landslide. But as you pointed out, the number one goal for both parties is to make the other party look bad.
^^^^^ This! In the Senate the Dem leadership will (may) try to mount a filibuster. That is what I was trying to convey. CNN and Politico just were keeping it simple because most folks don’t know or care how making legislation actually works.
The mainstream media is captured by the lies of the gender ideology cult. They only report stories sympathetic to that cause. The only reason any of these pro-trans laws ever passed is because they were done in secret, piggybacking on other bills in blue states touting equality. Even advocates know that if they put it up to a public vote it would fail because the large majority of people know it is unfair, unequal and unsafe to let males into female sports.
The russian bots Here like to claim democrats also support the idea of no men in womens Sports. Dont believe those foreign actors. Instead look how their elected officials represent them in votes like this. Democrats really want to destroy women s sports and believe men can get pregnant.

Speaker Mike Johnson referenced the bible in support of this bill. Whatever. This is such a common sense issue that a pre-science book of myths and legends actually aligns with modern medical science, at least for purposes of sex segregation in sports.
Democrats can also M@GA, whether they like it or not. This is M@GA.
Yes! If you really mean "make America great again" then I agree. There are tons of things we can all do to make that happen - secure borders, funding the schools and cops, fighting homelessness and fentynal, improving the housing market, etc.
However, some people I know think that MAGA means "make libs cry" and "do insane crap just to mess with the status quo!" If that is your definition, then no.

Time for the Senate Democrats to acknowledge defeat on this issue and take it off the table by allowing it to pass. Most of their constituents oppose the idea of men competing in women’s sports. The bill allows for TG participation in practices, which is a good compromise. Allowing the passage would essentially remove the issue’s relevance from future federal elections.

I haven't read the entirety of the bill and bills can often contain wording or not enough wording to have it not passable but the complaints seem to be stemmed from the powerful LGBTQ lobby which can't be ignored even if they haven't a clue on this subject and the fact that the bill seems to be in reference to all ages.
The LGBTQ issue is similar to the Gun rights issue from the right's perspective in that they don't want to give an inch because they think all of their rights will be removed eventually.
'Those against it said it could lead to intrusive genital examinations of the student-athletes.'
these people have totally lost the plot... anyone that plays high school sports is already subject to a physical examination which involves your genitals being examined... additionally if you are trans you've already subjected yourself to this on multiple occasions ... 206 clowns vs 218 based is not a good representation of how the country feels about this seemingly common sense issue ... at least it passed. Senate should do the same and anyone that votes 'no' should be subject to an intrusive brain examination.
I played a sport through Division I, and never had my genitals examined as a condition of participation
