World record watch! In the past two Wanamaker Miles Nuguse didn't really have anyone at his fitness level (Gourley and Kessler closest in 2023/2024 Wanamakers). With Kerr in the mix, Nuguse will be pushed and a Nuguse win isn't guaranteed.
I predict Kerr and Nuguse will push each other to a 3:46 indoor mile. As to who wins, I say whoever is drafting will win (just like in the 2 mile last year between Kerr and Fisher).
I'm sure after his 2 mile indoor WR last year, Kerr wouldn't mind adding the indoor mile WR to his repertoire.
It’s a partially good comment. You should have dictated more appropriate bias, for this instance, for Kerr by saying he is going to be the outright winner. Hobbs is of course not going to be in the mix for obvious reasons. As for Nuguse, I have long been aggrieved with his unfair performances in Paris Olympics last year and am sure millrose mile will be payback time to Kerr! Nuguse should have been at least 1.00 seconds behind Kerr in Paris and more, not 0.01!

I won’t be so harsh to a teenager but this kid has a running style not suited for events like 1500m. Of course he very well could have anaerobic blood values that gravitate towards 1500m but at least for me his biomechanics is just horrendous for this event. You need to be a long strider to be successful in this event. Jakob is considered a long or longer strider which is why he can succeed relative to others in this event but El G had the longest stride of them all which is also why Jakob can’t beat him despite all the rightly illegal aids!
Coming off Olympic disappointment, Azeddine Habz looks like he has been training intensely. Recent 27:44, with sub 1:44 in both 2023 and 2024, a 3:29 in 2023. Like Hocker and Kerr a year ago, his improved strength should lead to a breakthrough. I think he’ll stick with the leaders and contend.
This king of physics doesn’t know what he is talking about. Self proclaimed king…definitely not a Carl Sagan or Stephen Hawking. And not a king of anything—just another troll using ChatGPT to get responses. Has he even taken a physics class or have a degree? Probably not. Not a statistician either. Physics is different than stats. Although physics can use stats, you can modify stats to prove just about anything. Ignore this negative troll!
Nice that many of are positive. Still amazed that how negative many people are that are simply trolls. You all must be miserable people surrounded by miserable people.
People like Nuguse are gifted and still do well even without perfect form. All you trolls seem to do is just put runners down.
Your characters are to similar, which wouldn't be a problem if they were funny, but they are not.
Similar to what or with whom? You mean Khamis the RF savant? How many times must I emphasise that I’m good enough to act and think independently of him?
Do you think Henrik Lorentz doles out comedy? Why do you expect comedy and humor from technical physics savants like me?
I give technical things on LRC for the purposes of keeping sport spanking clean! Any humor is wholly unintended optical effect of the main technical offerings!

I have predicted in another thread that they can go low 3:46 if they keep up the pace after the last pacer drops out BUT..........................
I think Jakob will go at least 1.5 sec faster in the Lievin mile 5 days later.
His arms flail across his body and it gets more pronounced when he is fatigued. Not pillars of good form.
Does it really matter? he’s runs 3:47 and 728 indoors plus world silver, and 3:27 and 3:43 outdoors plus Olympic bronze. Who cares about his form with results like that?
