Huh? Police show up when a crime is being committed. Bad people are doing bad things. Paramedics show up to take good and people to the hospital after they are hurt. Firemen show up to put out fires. 99% of the time, there are no criminals doing bad things. Next you will say that amazon drivers aren't handcuffing people.

I have family members in law enforcement and they are for the most part very stubborn people. In their world they are always right. These guys egos get in their way and rarely cut breaks. They hate being challenged so yes Kerley could have approach this differently but some people here pretend that cops don't do anything wrong. Cops seem to almost always lack deescalating skills.

It doesn't make sense. Yeah newsflash - the majority of police in this country are dickheads and we all know it. They are going to act a certain way and you know it's coming. He was asked to leave an area - just do it. Even if you think you have a right to still be there just go and live to fight another day. You're successful, have money, better stuff in your life going on - and yet we are out here testing the patience of undertrained, underpaid, poor-candidate-as-it-is cops?
True, there’s no good coming out of digging your heels against a cop. Your life and well being is much more valuable than your ego going up against an armed cop’s. Cops easily take it up their chin because they need to feel important within a reality that they secretly know is to the contrary.
