I hate the fact that I'm posting on this thread but I just seen a video the other day of Phil Collins t behind a drum set looking pretty rough.
I looked up Phil Collins at your suggestion. He says he’s “used up all of his sky miles”, and anyone reading of his health condition would have to agree.
Basically, nothing works anymore on him. He has neurological issues, difficulty with basic motor control, including walking. Articles say he has no sensation in extremities also (?)
In lay terms, his health is gone and it’s not coming back.
But the part about how long a person’s life span drags on despite big neurological damage — anybody’s guess. I am not wishing him into an early grave (he is 70), but at the same time, I wouldn’t want it to continue on like that for his sake.
Any of the Boomer celebrities are fair game, even Mick Jagger, while not showing any outward signs of ill health, once you are past 75 it's a roll of the (tumblin') dice.
