Nah, BYU’s team is too good and the new rosters too small. Anyone with the talent to go to BYU is probably taking a scholarship at a strong d1 program. SLCC will become the development camp for runners who were almost good enough for the level of schools they wanted to prove they are. I imagine they’ll send a few kids to good programs every year, just rarely to the BYU or NAUs of the world.

I’m not saying they won’t ever send kids to BYU, it just won’t rise to the level of being a feeder school.

On the girls side, they've already got Jane Hedengren, Jaylie Jenkins (Bob Firman champ), River White (3rd at Firman), Boston Bybee (3x NXN appearances, best finish 35th), and Zariel Macchia (3rd at Footlocker, 19th at NXN).

Don't forget that Zach Hillhouse and Daniel Simmons in the pipeline once they get done with missions.

I know a few of those kids committed arnt Mormons

Nuguse went to a catholic school and I think he’s orthodox Christian (Ethiopian orthodox)

Whatever advantage BYU may have had, it's a lot less of an advantage now that it's easy for every other team in the country to send people to a junior college for a couple years. The junior college rule change if anything hurts BYU.

Clinger is what 32 now
