Hoka just does not get it right. They sponsor the athletes no one can relate with or some foreign athlete that no American kid can follow or wants to follow.

HOKA seems to be offering NILs to runners who also have strong character. That’s an honorable approach. They just hosted high school Foot Locker where the kids had a great time. They brought in a personality Billy the Toad to connect with some of the quieter kids and got them hyped up and having fun. Maybe the boring negative adults don’t connect with that? Wasn’t for them anyway. HOKA is trying to break into the younger athlete market. Who cares? Why ya hating? Don’t like em? Don’t buy em. Move on.
Outside looking in you seem very angry someone thinks Hoka does it wrong. Why so hostile. Just let it be. I personally think NAZ Elite is a group no top American wants to be apart of for good reason. I and others are allowed to have opinions. It’s not hard to tell Hoka is a third tier sponsor to an outdated race and for athletes with no other choices in sponsorship.
Im not the original poster but I think Hoka has no appeal with their pros. I agree on this assessment. Most are just some foreigner that is semi fast that no other company wanted to pay so Hoka took them. Or they have some old mom that is 40 or close to it.
If you think that’s appealing to high school elite athlete, then maybe you should work for Hoka unless you already do. I’m thinking that might be it.
1. No, NAZ elite’s roster is not “mostly some foreigners”
2. Claiming that “some old mom” has no brand appeal in running shows that you are wildly out of touch.
3. No affiliation with Hoka, NAZ or otherwise.
Agreed. The "complaints" lodged by the OP and his other handles don't even make sense.
Hoka is a good thing for the sport. Like any competitor brand is always good. They just need better choices on the elite side of things to get the respect they deserve. Let’s just say they have a lot of work to do. Maybe change it coming!?!?!
Hoka is very patriarchal. Never promoted a long term female assistant with NAZ, instead went for a younger no-experience dude.
No surprise to see them dump son many of their high visibility women.
Rosario was the same... getting rid of athletes that he could not coach, as if the problem was the athletes and not the coach.
Why promote a coach for no reason. Her hire was likely just to check a box. Just because you’re a long term assistant does not mean you’re the best choice for head coach. And highly visible women or non appealing women with no relevance? Just like the Hansons group it’s easy to coach a subpar marathon group. Hoka definitely made the right choice getting rid of that crew.
True but the athletes left in Naz elite are literally the least appealing to any high school kid. That group is so odd from the athletes to the coaches. I have nothing against them and hope they succeed. I really do but I’m just being honest.
Don’t hate the messenger
The phrase "don't hate the messenger" doesn't really apply when you're sharing an opinion.
And the opinion proclaims everyone shares his opinion.
