I don't know if it's cringy, but I've got a weird one. This guy last week joined our local running store Strava group. So he's local, but I don't know the guy personally. I noticed him because he logged nearly 200 miles last week. I looked up his history a bit thinking that was an outlier, and he's been running close to 200 miles for the last 6 months. He appears to be in the 50's, not fast at all, so this isn't a competitive thing.
But here's where it gets weird, most of his runs will be around a single block of a downtown area. So running like 8-10 miles 3 times a day basically in circles. There's usually a title or comment from him about having a "tough" day with work or something else similar. I did a little looking into him, and it's safe to say he's a little "off" from a social standpoint.
Now I'm not alarmed or anything, I don't think he's about to completely lose his mind and take out a healthcare CEO. But 200 miles a week in circles? I'm sorry, we're all a LITTLE crazy with our running at times, but this dude is on another level.
