Is the NYPD going to take credit for finding him like the Boston PD did with the Boston Marathon bomber dude?
You know, the same guy who was found by a homeowner who saw something amiss in the boat parked in his yard?
The same Boston PD that had air and ground patrol and created a city dragnet and had driven up and down that same street numerous times yet got up there at a press conference and thanked everyone in a position of power (FBI, CIA, whatever) but the homeowner.
NYPD should basically just come out and say "Thank you to the tipster. They are the one(s) who found him/called it in. We didn't catch him. They did. Thanks to the Altoona PD for showing up quickly and arresting him"
His family surely recognized him from his pics on news. He clearly missed thanksgiving with them as well going by his dates in manhattan. Dad’s a professor, sister is MD/PhD, so they couldn’t have been clueless and oblivious.
Wonder if they expected something like this or were shocked out of their skin wondering where they went wrong. Sad either way.

I'm going to guess that his response to struggling with the vicissitudes of life that most go through in their 20s was to go down a rabbit hole of ideology and hate resulting in planning and executing this murder. Pretty sad stuff.
He is an anti capitalist who went to a school with a tuition of $40,000.
He was 13 when he started at that school. He wasn't paying the bill. Probably paid by his parents or by some scholarship for his high grades and test scores. He appears to have been a very high achiever before he sadly went nuts.
Of course the shooter is a white male. We know “their type”. I think it has to do with “their violent culture”, no fault divorce, and an absence of prayer (Christian prayer) in public school.
No worries though. Trump, JD, RFK, Tulsi, Elon, and Vivek will solve all of this within 3 months.
He's a far left extremist. Judging from your post, you've probably got more in common with him than you would care to admit.
This is just not true, if you take a minute to look at his social media posts, he's constantly praising Elon Musk, condemning atheism, and retweeting trad posts about Rome and how the woke mind virus is evil. He also went to Penn, which if you know anything about the Ivies, is up there with Princeton as probably the most conservative Ivy.
The fallacy you're falling into is that you think this is a left vs. right issue, when in fact many alt-right and trad-right groups hate the health insurance as much, if not more, than left-wing groups. Combine that with the fact that they tend to be more prone to using violence as a tool, and you end with a right-wing futurist assassinating a CEO.

Correct. And the people that want to ascribe to this either a far right or left political ideology are just taking their talking points from media that supports either of those narratives. The facts so far as we know them point to a radical centrist that was smart enough comprehend the details of how this world works, but unfortunately couldn't handle that reality once discovered.
