I watched the first one (where he says people may be more likely to vaccinated if employers/schools make it mandatory to get that specific job or attend that specific school) and there's nothing in it about him lying to Congress.

Tell me, please, what the crime is. There's no evidence in that video he lied about anything. You may not like his statement, but having an opinion is not a crime.

Yeah, unfortunately this is true. I'm not for the power of the pardon unless someone has demonstrably been given a raw deal, but in this case, with a lawless incoming President bent on revenge, I think it might be warranted. Fauci doesn't deserve prison or any legal harrassement from Trump. Schiff hasn't done anything illegal either...or Pelosi, or any of the others who just stood up to Trump.

So, is this an admission that Fauci has violated a law when it comes to the COVID pandemic? Is he responsible for the creation of the virus, or something that transpired afterwards, like the vaccines?

On a side note, there is no way Biden is considering this. He has no mental capacity to consider much of anything these days. His mind is almost completely gone already.

Someone told me a while back that Fauci lied because he said we could "stop" the virus with social distancing, etc. The truth is, no responsible epidemiologist would ever say we could "stop" a virus by using these protective measures. So, what is "lying"?

Dr. Fauci indicated that we did not have to let the virus wreak havoc on our healthcare system, which it would have, given the reproduction number of about 2.9, which ended up higher than their original estimate of 2.2. I suppose that could be considered a lie, since he changed his story. Oh wait, he did not change his story, he had more data.

We did stop the virus from potentially causing 1,000,000 hospitalizations per week, which was forecast with the SIR model. Surely everyone on this message board is familiar with the SIR model, and the assumptions made with both the Oxford and Cambridge version.

1,000,000 hospitalizations per week could shut down our hospital system, by the way, because we have about that many beds total in the U.S.. Epidemiologists do have a plan for that contingency, however. COVID patients would be warehoused in triage units/morgues, away from the hospitals, so all the dweebs on message boards could still go to the hospital and get well.

Social distancing lowered the EFFECTIVE reproduction number from 2.9 down to about 1.0 in most states by the summer, which means that each person with COVID would infect 1.0 people, so we reached equilibrium by summer, and we knew it surely would be around in the fall, which it did.

We did make it to the vaccine, and subsequently circumvented the ill effects that COVID could have unleashed, if not for the good efforts of all the longsuffering epidemiologists like Dr. Fauci. i.e., we "stopped" COVID from wreaking all the havoc that epidemiologists like DR FAUCI had accurately forecast.

He lied repeatedly to Congress.

I usually don't side with the pro-Islamist terrorist supporter, but he has provided ample evidence of Fauci's lies. Your failure to accept reality doesn't mean Fauci isn't a duplicitous liar.

Preemptive pardons ? If President Carter had that power, he did not know about it.
