No it's not, or at least should not be.
My TT is a combination of all out race and trotting along.
They give Gift Cards to the top 15 men/women as they cross the line.
We have 700-800 runners. I "big" race otherwise in this area will have 300 +/-
Some race all out most are celebrating and having fun.
If you're right on the line between being the 15th and 16th fastest runner there that sounds like a reason to give it everything you have
