Already signed up for a local 5k. Got my hydration vest, a ton of Gu's, and selfie stick ready, but I'm still debating if I should wear my Vaporflys or my Vibrams. My strategy is to make sure I'm right on top of the start line to make sure I get a good time, sprint as hard as I can for about 250 meters until I can't breathe, and then just stop without seeing if there's anyone behind me (gotta keep the competition guessing). Then I plan on walk/jogging between aid stations, where I'll again just stop in the most inconvenient place and take up as much space as possible. Hopefully I'll set a new PR that I can post on all my socials!
