Married men: who do you feel has more power in your relationship, you or your wife?

Never about that sort of thing at all, nobody cares about that. What really matters is making sure the other is happy. Making sure they have everything they want. Never competitive at all,, ah unless we ae playing chess or backgammon.

Married guy, just turned 32.

Relationships have an illusion of power, but the truth is, in a great marriage, you both belong to each other. I am a slave to my wife, and she is a slave to me.

I am putting this in extremely crude terms, but it is true.

To put it more warmly, we love and adore each other and we do everything (that we can) for each other.

We have two kids and counting and they are perfect.

I am American and my wife is not an American citizen - I might be lucky in that regard. Separate issue.

I have also been living abroad for almost five years now.

As a married man I would never let my wife dominate the relationship unless she made more than me. Because I make more I have more power considering I buy everything
