I have to admit I have just a bit more than zero interest in elite road running in general these days but my primary interest does lie in how the current crop of USA men's marathoners do this season. Mantz/Young/Albertson/Panning/Fisher all seem relatable to me and, all love running and seem interesting in their differing ways. I'd be great to see Fisher break 2:10, Panning and Albertson run sub 2:08 and Young and Mantz be in the mix for a majors podium. Good luck guys!
i am not american, but ran in the usa, canada, new zealand. and trained with kenyans, africans.
not a big fan of africans at all, though they are the most fun to train with by far. they are generally mentally unsound, to be polite.
bekele though is the goat, and is of sound mind probably a good character.
canadians, never cotton to them, though degrasse, never say die, is a good one.
new zealand, aren't so bad, above average. john walker, dixon, jack foster, quax are historic.
usa is the only way to go though. probably the best people. though alberto, who i've met is the biggest ahole of them all ... that said, is a great flawed man... let him coach lads again.
end of diatribe.
