I could not find it on Peacock (I tried at 7:45 ET). However, there was surprisingly a Chicago NBC News App on my Sony Smart TV.

Whether you like it or not it’s a local broadcast. They aren’t there to cover the race. They are there to cover an event in Chicago. Anyone who doesn’t understand that will just complain about the coverage every year. I don’t like it either but their audience is people living in Chicago. It’s not sports fans watching a race.

Ok, now that the race has started. They now show the wheelchairs. The break has already occurred however. Too bad, they unfortunately missed it

Men lead pacemakers are Hillary Kipkoech who is a sub 60 guy and paced really well in Valencia last year + Peter Mwaniki with a 26:59 10k PB this year. They might both actually be training mates of Vincent Ngetich
