Also, TransCon expert, he is breaking his runs up in master laps, according to Strava. Hang on, I'll get a quote. Hmm can't copy and paste. Anyways hes doing two laps in each lane 1-8, then moving back then changing direction at the end and is basing his distance off what that would be, then multiplying by the number of master laps. His Strava actually had him down as 103 miles, but he is claiming 100. Seems fine. Heart rates look appropriate. Pace is quick though.
Elevation however...yeah, I'm putting that down to sh***y Samsung watch.
As I mentioned I just saw that he has timing equipment there. That whole moving lap thing is weird and it's also not how track records are run. But hey, he can do whatever he wants. It just will not count as a real record. Not that he is capable of doing that.
It will be interesting to see how he does on day 2 and if he is able to continue on day 3. My educated guess is, that he will not go further than day 3. There is no way that he is getting 300 miles in 72 hours. No way!
