DC doctor. /. I’m 78 and ride a midsize Japanese sport bike. I also drive a Toyota GR86
sport car. What’s age got to do with? I’m a better car driver because I ride a motorcycle.
Because, physiologically speaking, your reflexes are trash and you may not react in time to a last-second lane change by a teenage girl smoking a blunt in her Nissan Altima while FaceTiming her other boyfriend.
I’m also in agreement about motorcyclists being better drivers. They also make better road cyclists too.
I’ve had 4 BMWS all vintage and crashed a Harley VROD. It’s for the young as it’s a rush speeding along. Absolute RUSH. Alas, sold all except 1 just to look at and work on in the garage. Fun hobby, but dangerous as hell. Compensating at that age is probably likely.
You got issues bro. I'm 59 and ride a BMW. It's not just for the "young." It's stupid, like saying a performance Porsche or Lambo is for the young. Guess who has the money to buy nice things: middle age folks. If you want be old, be old, but don't generalize that on everyone else LOL.
You won’t be talking like that when you break both hips, coccyx and your dentures fly down that storm drain.

A performance Porsche or Lambo IS for the young. Old folks are the only ones who can afford it, but they lack the reflexes to drive it any faster than a Hyundai. Might as well leave it in the a garage if you’re going to sit in the slow lane.
