I never understood why all those swimmers didn't just either a) refuse to swim against Liam Thomas or b) just stand on the starting blocks and let Lia 'win' with zero competition and then say, "Ready, set, go" and swim on their own once Lia was done.
It’s mind boggling especially since they went on all those talk shows afterwards. They knew they would lose so why race and then complain?

I just checked they are rated like 206th?!?? Is this the highest ranking a women’s team has ever achieved? They have won over 40% of their games! How can we expect any team to face them knowing there are such insurmountable odds?

Umm, yeah, we’re saying the same thing. Every team should refuse to play/forfeit San Jose St. takes their place as the rightful national champions because they are the most penised team in all of D1 volleyball!
Also, clearly transgender people can’t possibly have any self respect. Next thing you know women will try to take men’s jobs instead of just being nurses, teachers and secretaries until they find a husband. Can you imagine it?

You don't understand why swimmers did not want to forfeit their opportunities to compete in NCAA Championships? For some of them, it was their ONLY chance to swim in the NCAA Championships final.
Would YOU have forfeited your only chance to compete in the NCAA Championship final?
being born male and switching to female allows you to take the biological advantage men have (bigger bodies, stronger, etc) with you. The proof is in the results

why is this so hard to understand. There is a biological advantage that is why men and women do not compete in the same division is sports and activities that a physical in nature. but intellectual sports like Debate you see men and women all in the same division.
This is something totally different than that this is about fairness, that doesn't evolve.

This is a conference game, too, not just an exhibition. Boise was willing to lower their seed in the conference tournament by taking the loss rather than play against them. Boise is scheduled to play them again on November 21.

Actually, NCAA policy is determined by the policy of USA Volleyball. The national governing policy takes priority over the international governing body.
And it is easier to change the policy of USAV than FIVB, since most people in other countries probably cannot figure out what the big deal is about this above average player in a mediocre league.
