I won't argue with you since your premise is correct. People are usually just like other people (a mix of hard-working and lazy and everything in between).

It just happens that in my area some jobs are so undesirable that US citizens rarely seem to be found doing them: working in agriculture, picking vegetables, working in fast food, as hotel cleaners, and unregulated demo & construction jobs.

That kind of work is not something that unemployed Americans are clamoring to do. That is why it seems like all the work crews that I drive past on my way to work seem to be made up of non-US born individuals. The ladies standing at the bus stop going to work at 5:30am are "hard working" in my opinion because there are millions of Americans who would rather be unemployed than get up that early.

I think the biometric scan of their faces precludes that. Once you've been "exited" from the system (and scanned), you can't get compensation again.

The facial scanning software is ready to go and if you want the $34,000, you have to be willing to let Sweden take a picture of your face.

I work with immigrants too. Everyone is equally as hard working or lazy given the circumstances they are in. If you have no generational wealth and studied hard in school you’re working hard and trying to be employed for as long as your body can handle. If you’ve got no generational wealth and benefit off government handouts without looking for a job you’re lazy. If you can’t finish school or don’t even speak English but don’t want to rely on government handouts your whole life you’re hard working just in a bad spot . Immigrants fall into all of these categories
