p.s. I don't know if he'll get the insane times the OP posted but I would wager that when he retires, he will have surpassed Said Aouita and Geb as the runner with the best range in the world. Aouita was a solid 800-to-10km guy. Geb was a 1500-to-marathon star. Jakob can better their times (or already has).

For a start, what is is efficiency, i.e ml O2/kg/km? What is his minimum racing weight. How about fuel storage? What about gut issues etc etc. There is a reason he is good at the current range
