were allowed to talk about Ryan Hall here as hes a running celebrity as imagine if there was a running messageboard and we weren't allowed to talk about Lebron as thats communism that we can't let the radical left have. either you believe in freedom and america or you think communism is good and that its better to assasinate people simply for speaking their minds as that what happens when you don't let people post
Rory Linkletter confirmed he is looking for a new coach and prefers to not return to Utah in Lindsey Hein's podcast:
it’s too bad Rory doesn’t have any former college teammates who are successful marathoners around his same level that he could train with under his former college coach who is a successful coach for the marathon distance 👀

If you saw the Clayton Young series episode with Rory, you'd understand the Utah guys would like him to be as far north in Canada as possible.
Don't be silly man, you absolutely can have depression while being a Christian. You lean on God to get you through it, but you can still have struggles. Being a Christian doesn't exempt someone from hardships.
If anyone is interested on this topic, Ryan discusses it on the latest episode of the Run Free podcast. He basically said he just had too much stuff on his plate, was tired from coaching and his mind constantly being on it, and wanted more time for himself.
In fact, Rory Linkletter said in a podcast a week ago that he was in a different group of friends than Clayton Young, and they didn't have much contact during their time at BYU. He said it in a way that suggested they were not on very good terms. Rory Linkletter also mentioned that he is not a Mormon but is a Christian, which might explain the distant relationship. Rory's mother is a Mormon, but I don't know if he has ever been in the church himself. At BYU, leaving the church is viewed very negatively, and people who leave may be ostracized by others.
