I wish for all EPO and other banned substances to be instantly flushed from my system after taking them.
That’s a waste of a wish. It’s the same as if you refrained from taking them - you don’t achieve any performance benefit.
Also, I take this post back. Upon reflection, this may actually be a good wish - if you’re trying to avoid being dosed by unscrupulous people without your knowledge.
Genie wishes are so unlimited as to be less meaningful.
In the realm of things I’ve actually thought about, I’d go with some combination of my kids, my wife, and me being able to run as much as we want injury free. I’d leave results up to hard work and potential. I’m getting sick of stress fractures, achilles injuries, IT band suckage, and lower back pain.
- Must be directly running-related (e.g. I can't wish for Nike to go under just because Nike sell running products).
- Wishes can be about another person, as long as it's about their running.
I just wish that I could run again; 9-10 minute pace would be fine.
72 years old, battled exercise-induced asthma since my 20's and still raced, then later in life got peripheral neuropathy which made me subject to falls. Now I have two bad knees from ruptured patellar tendons three years ago although the docs say that I can run again. Although the asthma is gone and I'm off corticosteroids, I'm too snake-bitten to risk more injury.
