I haven't made that kind of mistake but what I was addressing was his attitude, in which he posted a thread to simply p*ss on Kerr. It was partial juvenile cr*p and he exposed it with his comment about the medals, which he got wrong.
But also to your point, I frequently get addressed in the fashion you object to. I don't have a problem responding in kind when that happens.
