ESP ran chaotically. She needs to be more patient. None of those moves were necessary and she's lucky she didn't get tripped.

Little dicey by St. Pierre using her arm/elbow to swat the Canadian back so she could get out. That's not going to get a DQ but if she accidentally caused a clip/fall, then probably out for sure.

61- 2:05. hot pace in 2nd semi
Mackay is well out of it at the bell lap
Hiltz in great position. Mackay looking out of it in back.
Mackay's form looks awful
Hiltz looks hot in that uniform
Tsegay was fading in the last 100 - I thought for a moment that she might drift out of it entirely! Does not look like someone that is going to contend for a medal, especially if she decides to run the 10k
Hull looks supremely confident. Tsegay looked cooked!
Damn Hull and kipyegon looked great. Welteji too. Tsegay probably next best but well off the big 3.
Hull and Welteji looked capable of 3:50.
3:55.10 for a SEMI? Damn.
3:56.69 just to Q. wow.
