I’m a CPA and doctors are routinely some of the dumbest clients I have. Can’t spell, can’t do basic math, can’t understand any concept which requires thought. Your entire profession is devoid of critical thinking. It’s just memorize and regurgitate ad infinitum. Half of the outlandish tax court cases you read about involve some dumb@ss doctor who can’t accept that he took a foolish position
CPAs have no room to talk. i've worked with plenty over the past decade that don't know the fundamentals of, say, how the GL works with QuickBooks, messes up the books, and they need to be fixed (others catching strays in the process), and their client foots the add'l bill

If you're diagnosed with cancer or other serious illness you'll be glad there are doctors who know how to treat it.

im a cardiologist- such a waste of time. bunch of dumb thoughtless folks just regurgitating memorized facts doing nothing for people. these guys can just google how to cath themselves, how to treat afib and heart failure. simple stuff. hell they can probably replace their own new valves and stents during the stemi! bunch of smart guys here can do anything they put their minds to.

I don’t doubt that you’ve dealt with some mentally stunted CPA’s by the way. I spend a lot of time fixing their mistakes. But quickbooks is for data entry monkeys and small time businesses. If this is the great exemplary mistake that you’ve dealt with, then you likely don’t understand the field.
Keep using Google to diagnose yourself. You’ll end up being the biggest hypochondriac in the world. Probably getting full body MRIs and finding benign lesions that you’ll get worked up unnecessarily.
It’s not doctors that have rigged the healthcare system, it’s MBAs and capitalism pure and simple. Physicians are no longer in charge of healthcare.
Patients can just look up anything on the internet. Go to a clinic to get a test (blood labs, MRI, etc.) and if anything is outside the normal range you can just read the internet to learn how to interpret it. Pretty simple.

If you do research online, you'll probably know more than the average doctor in that moment. Think about it, most of them don't do any studying after graduating. So those oldies may be the worst, even though the clueless general public perceives them as the most knowledgeable. It is a totally overvalued profession. Most people blindly trust the corporate/big pharma bound doctors simply because they're too dumb/clueless with regards to the subject at hand. The doctor could say anything--even terrible advice, and they'd blindly adhere.
Doctors, like anyone else who holds a professional license, need to take a minimum number of continuing education credits when they need to renew their licenses. It's not the same as being in school but it's not like they get out of med school and never learn anything again.
