Some people have class, others apparently don't. And frankly Sage wouldn't have made it onto the team anyway, especially if Mu stayed on her feet

Tier 2: Johnson, Jones, McClean,
Tier 3: Sage, McGee, Andrews and Maybe 3 or 4 more?
I mean, Cory McGee is going to show up at a final and run 4:02 like she always does. It's just a question of whether the other runners are faster or slower than that. McGee is a cut above the other Tier 3 runners and probably is more on Tier 2. Otherwise, I think the tier 1 runners are the US team.
She should be pissed at herself as much as anyone. She was running in last place, the person most likely to be impacted in a fall in the race it's most likely to happen. There is an advantage in the 800 to being able to go out in the front. Running in last you need to keep an opening to the outside for this type of thing. Akins also went to the back in the first 200, but stayed to the outside of lane 2. Hurta was starting in lane 7 and should have done the same, otherwise you have to live with the risk of being right behind the pack.
She should be thinking about she’s in “amazing shape” and still ran like a rookie. Shoulda learned that lesson doing the exact same thing as last olympic trials.

yes, i find it offensive. and no, everyone wasn't thrilled about shalane's antics, it's just further evidence of the degradation of our society that it's even seen as acceptable.
