the women’s kit is high cut
Adidas sat back and laughed at Nike knowing they were rolling out these stripper suits this spring.
Have you seen Patterson jump with it. Ai, awkward to see! How could she choose such a nude 90ies bathing suit.

Exactly!
Klaver has run in it (indoors) and will probably never ever again, it looked terrible, with her black undies peeping out at the front.
So embarrassing.
This suit is ONLY about looking sexy. When you finish 2 or 3th or higher than it looks weird, looking sexy when you have to give your all, ending up with not such a happy face but wearing a 90ies porno movie suit.
It's up to you ladies.
Speaking as a happily heterosexual old lady, I think it looks ugly and ridiculous. But I understand they all have a choice of kits, and thankfully there are no style points in T&F, so I'm fine with whatever they're wearing.
Personally I find it silly that in 2024 people are still telling women what the can and cannot wear, and that we act that normal attraction is somehow a bad thing. If girls want to wear outfits that produce as much speed as possible while showing off their bodies, so what? And why on earth is it a bad thing if guys enjoy these suits more than others? I'm all for them, and I personally wish more women wore suits like these at meets.

It looks silly. Women are already racing in what is essentially panties now. Only a matter of time until someone starts pushing for a thong.
I did like the kit that Tuohy wore, though. The cut of those shorts was more like the awesome Puma kits this year. They are flattering on most women and the ladies can run without getting a wedgie or having half of their cheeks exposed.

Exactly. They have a choice. Why anyone would choose to wear something that ugly is beyond me, but it's on them.

If that design was about speed, the men would be wearing something similar.

Yeah and adidas has plenty of options. I find it weird when I see anyone picking this one because i feel like 80% of people think they look unflattering.

But I guess that's my point. So what if it's about showing off your body instead of speed? Clearly this doesn't negatively affect times (at minimum) and it gives the viewers a good time.

Yeah... I'm pretty confident that a lot more than 20% think it's flattering. Outfits like this are meeting a pretty clear demand, even if it's unspoken.
What was that one 800m running wearing a few years back forgot her name?
Found it- Vessey. Was sort of cool.

Sure—that black strip of fabric running directly through the crotch and surrounded by lighter fabric doesn't highlight anything! I'm glad we're in agreement that the girls can keep wearing it (even if we disagree slightly on the reasoning).
It looks much better on darker skinned runners, imo. It's like adidas didn't have any white people try it on ahead of time

It's ugly, just like the previous Adidas uniforms. Nike has always had hideous ugly uniforms as well. The Nike tie dye purple singlets are horrible.

Adidas made them this way because they know you Let's Run dweebs will never get close to a va-jay-jay IRL, so they gave you something to fantasize about while you are beating off watching the women's distance runners during the trials.
Male speed-suits and tights are just as gross
