i think it's because he's small and looks like a middle school kid. if he was over 6 feet tall and jacked no one would care. it's crazy watching a guy who looks like a little kid run 45 flat. it makes us feel like, surely once he builds more muscle and physically matures, he'll be running 43's on the reg.

What about Tyreese Cooper? Yes, I know how he ended up, and it's sad. But we can't forget how much he achieved when he was at his prime. 45.2 as a freshman is indisputable.

Tyrese Cooper was a super freshman. He was 16++ y/o. Quincy also ran 44.x and barely ran outdoor spring to wait for trials.
