Just noticed goose declared. I guess he can always scratch but I wasn't expecting him to declare. Thoughts? Has him/ritz said anything about it?
Edit: Also, Blanks declared under New Balance instead of Harvard so it looks like he is going pro? Or does he have to do that under the terms of his NIL or something?
Nuguse hates the 5,000 so I think the only way he runs that event is if he somehow fails to make the 1500 team.
Doesn't mean Blanks is going pro. Last year, Roisin Willis ran representing New Balance at NCAAs but came back to Stanford. You can rep your brand outside of collegiate competition while retaining your eligibility. And I'm guessing part of the NIL deals is that you have to compete in their gear at USAs if asked.
yes, a backup.
or for a quality workout.
but if he wins the 5000 by a good margin, not likely) love it or not, they he and coach can look at it.
The correct usage is “Had he/Ritz said anything about it?”
If you take out Ritz and try the sentence again it can help you choose the right word. To illustrate “Has him said anything about it?” Doesn’t make sense.

Agree. I hope he does both just because selfishly it would be fun to watch. Would have to think it could change the strategy for Fisher, Nico, and the others if you suddenly have 3:43 guy to deal with. Letting him hang around would not be ideal.
