Keep updating it regularly for another week -- based up declarations found at USATF.org as well as interviews and social media posts where athletes state which events they will be racing at the Trials. Just as you have with the athletes who are out with injuries.
For example, Kelati is currently only entered in the 10k while O'Keefe/marathon is not entered at all. They can be lined out of your above 5k and 10k lists, respectively.
Also, Emily MacKay stated after yesterday's 1:57 she will only race the 1500 at the Trials, so she can be lined out of your 800 list.

It would be dumb for Valby in the prelim to do more than anything but what is required to get into the Final. If she makes top 3 in the Final, she is on the Team due to ranking.

Looking at present fitness and seeing Schweizer and Cranny run faster than Valby in the same weekend I see them being fitter and faster and probably haven't done any taper work since they expect to race well into the summer. That's what I mean by sharpening, some workouts designed to help you feel fast and fresh heading into a big meet. I trust the women who 5 national titles between them, are racing well, and have made olympic finals in the past in this race to perform as they need to over an inexperienced time trialer.

I do know the difference in weather, but proper hydration and preparation can mitigate 15 minutes of exertion in 82 degree weather.

I don't really disagree with you about Cranny, Schweitzer and Purrier being able to run Valby down.

The question is what else can Valby do besides front run? If it's slow she just even gets abused more in a kick. We saw that with Tuohy in '22 when leaders closed in 4:30.

Valby has fairly smoothly front run 14:52 twice, and 30:50, so one would think with competition and adrenaline of Olympic trials, she could go at 14:40 pace.

She then just needs to hope that someone has a bad day and gets dropped, or doesn't have a kick in that race.

If PV runs 14:40 and gets 4th, no shame in that. At least she will make the top dogs work for it.

That's got to be her plan at this point. The big unknown is what is Valby's breaking point? Sooner or later we'll see her bonk or get dropped in a race. It happens to everyone. I expect her to race well at nationals with all the confidence she's gained in just winning everything she raced in the last 12 months, but she's about to see a level of talent she hasn't raced before so it is exciting!

Where was Izzo at this weekend? Wasn’t she entered in the Portland Track Festival? How can she be qualified to run the USATF meet if she doesn’t have the qualifying time? Maybe they will let her run the Trials, but she still has to get Top 3 to make the team.

right now she's 26 on the entry list. I wouldn't be surprised to see the organizers push in her and Steph Bruce and assume at least one or two will drop out after the 5000m. Adding Izzo to the field guarantees 3 US runners in the 10000m at worlds.

That is not a ‘guarantee’, since it depends upon the finishing time of the race and the top 3 in it.

And the conditions for Valby’s race were 22deg hotter, (which you seem to think makes no difference if hydrated🙄), and she didn’t have fellow racers to push pace and trade-off leading.

It's definitely a conundrum. Izzo is Olympic qualified via cross country, but not qualified on time for the US trials. But this is why Max makes big money.

If she does run trials and finishes anywhere, she could still makes the team if others are not Olympic qualified.

Exactly, so if ESP does not come away with the 1500m Championship after doubling in a hard 5000m final, there is “no shame in that”.

Instead she struggled to maintain and just missed the standard. I'm not saying that she can't run faster, but I don't think she has a lot left in there at the moment.

Valby is displaying abnormal asymmetry in her leg’s back kick; it cropped up at Bryan Clay. She might someday be a lot faster if it gets rectified.

I am not directly referring to Valby although it is something to consider, but many frontrunners perform far better solo. There is no stress of wondering how to drop others, winning, placing top 3, etc. They get to focus just on themselves without distraction and thrive.

Having not run against OT level competition to this point, others around her "might" be a negative and her NCAA strong solo effort is indicative of nothing greater. She may run much better, but that is not a guarantee.
