    Is this a modified Worlds?

    There should be no relays. How would a relay team be composed if the entrants are based on two above?

    I attended Worlds in Budapest last year. The Hungarians did a fantastic job putting it on. I look forward to attending this championship in 2026.

    I did not attend Worlds in Eugene. Such podunk places are below my standards.

    2024 Olympics

    2025 DL Final and Worlds

    2026 DL Final? And Ultimate Champions

    2027 DL Final? and Worlds

    2028 DL Final? Olympics and Ultimate Champions.

    I can live with this. Can not have too much Athletics.

    Most of the costs are for the Convention the week before for 4 days. 10,000 WA Blue Badge VIP from some 200 nations fly 1st Class, stay in 5 Star hotels, are served fully catered meals, snacks, coffee, coke with ice, etc.

    Im surprised at the lack of outrage that the new Ultimate Championships set for 2026 in Budapest will contest NO STEEPLECHASE of either gender. No shot or discus either gender. No women's hammmer. No men's triple jump.

    There's no outrage because apart from the 5 athletes in the world that take those events seriously, literally no one cares. I watch every DL and follow all distance running closely, but I have no interest in the steeple. Just scrap it

    Yeah. I'm amazed at the bloat. Attend any Worlds, and you will see the horde of family members ( husbands or wives and children with their WA badges who get free admittance. I wonder if WA pays for their hotels as well.

    Who pays for what for major championships, and how many team delegates teams can take. Scattered through their other documents is information on what star rating hotels meets have to book for athletes & officials eg 4 star hotel for Diamond League meets or gold level continental tour meets, 3 star for silver or bronze meets etc.

    No shot is probably the most surprising event on that list.
