Rain all morningand no sun, with forecast on additional rain under the competition. Means highly likely with wet tracks. That said, the temp is good (19 degrees) and the rain has washed away the heavy layer of pollen in the air, meaning that all in all the conditions are decent. I would expect winning time in 3:30 - 3:31.
Running after rain is quite beneficial. More oxygen in the air.
Thanks yeah it’s 0slo, it’s Norwegian. They also do this thing where they squash an A and an E together to make a new letter, or crown an ‘A’ with a little bubble for no reason. Weird country.
~64 degrees with 20-30% chance of rain and negligible wind
I think Jakob wins in just about 3:29.00. I’m picking 2. Habz 3. Cheruiyot 4. Nordas but there are a lot of ways that could go with Hoare, Mills, Nader, et al.
Most everyone is gonna pick Jakob, I know, but what are your predictions for winning time and 2nd/3rd places?

Because there isn't more oxygen in the air after it rains?
rain is saturated with oxygen
Guys, guys...has anyone contacted major news outlets about this?!? I think they would be very interested to know that water contains oxygen and maybe even other molecules!
I especially love the part where objectiveobserver's rebutall is to ask for evidence to disprove his brilliant theory. Science!

I didn't have the mental energy to handle it so I left it go.
"There are many references to report the possible biological effects"
Rain or even impending rain contributes to the charging the air with negative ions. Even being close to a body of water helps (Stadion Louis II is literally right at the edge of the Ligurian Sea, Letzigrund is close Lake Zurich, Helsinki which was also a great place for distance running is very close to water, so is Olso...)
